GIMBICHU CHEFEDONSA — Local organization Ratson has successfully concluded a five-day training on Activity-Based Learning (ABL) for facilitators under its Second Chance Education initiative.
Held at Gimbichu Chefedonsa Primary School from August 11 to 15, 2026, the capacity-building workshop trained 32 education stakeholders—including 21 women—drawn from local facilitators, supervisors, and district education experts.
The initiative equips educators with active, child-centered teaching methodologies designed to deliver accelerated, high-quality learning. The project aims to re-integrate 500 out-of-school children into the educational system, overcoming persistent socio-economic barriers in the region.
